Herbs: My Only Herbal Supplier
I want to share with you exactly why I feature Mountain Rose Herbs
as the only herbal supplier on this website. In one word - Quality!
I have gardened and wild harvested herbs for decades and I hope to
still be gardening and wild harvesting herbs decades from now.
So, I know - personally - what fresh herbs look, smell, and
taste like. Fresh Yarrow is NOT brown, the smell of fresh
Garlic knocks your socks off when you open the container, and fresh
Peppermint needs NOTHING for a perfect cup of tea.
Many years ago (it seems like a life time to me) I tried to be an
herbal supplier because I was so dissatisfied with what was being sold.
My goal was ONLY organic, ONLY fresh, and much of it
harvested by me. I wanted my customers to experience the
perfection of absolutely fresh herbs. My company was a wild
success, however Multiple Sclerosis took me down three years after I
opened my doors (for the record - I believe I am healthy and active now
because of my use of fresh herbs).
I went on an all out hunt for a company that carries the same values I
do - and supplies the same quality that I demanded of myself.
I was repeatedly disappointed by what I was ordering.
On one of my searches I found Mountain Rose
Herbs and really read the 'about us' section of the website
(this was about a decade ago, lol). At that time I was (and
still am) totally impressed by what I read - but what were their herbs
'really' like?
I placed a small order containing the herbs I was most often
disappointed with. You got it - I tested Mountain Rose Herbs!
I was MORE than
pleased - I was shocked! I could smell the herbs
even through their packaging and the sealed box (the UPS guy said his
truck smelled wonderful, lol). I admit that I have occasionally tried a
few other companies - but I always find myself shaking my head at the
poor quality - and returning to Mountain Rose Herbs.
Now, over a decade later, I have come to a place in my life that I will
either grow or harvest myself - or ONLY buy from Mountain Rose Herbs.
I know - beyond a shadow of a doubt - that you will feel the
same way. Because of my belief in this company, you will not
see any other herbal supplier on this website (except possibly in an
ad, which I have no control over). If I am going
to steer anyone to a place to purchase herbs, essential oils, fixed
oils (and so much more) - it MUST be the best!

from what you buy. However, that does not change my belief in this
company or the fact that they will always be my only supplier and the
only herbal supplier I feature on this site.
